    The Victoria is what it is really. Its not going to wind up being a gastro pub in the near future but it serves nice Harvey's ale and a good selection of lagers. If the landlord is reading his paper out in the kitchen, one of the friendly old locals will give him a shout for you.

    Its located right near Portslade train station literally opposite the level crossing which is very handy but do beware that the barrier comes down quite frequently and you don't want to miss your train!

    I had the scampi and chips here for lunch last week, it was very nice indeed and didn't cost much at all.
